Game jams
I have participated in a variety of game jams like Ludum Dare, Brackeys and GMTK. I don’t think game jams necessarily translate well to larger game projects, however I sometimes enjoy working on something new for a couple of days and challenging myself to make a full game in a short amount of time.
Timelapses
Below are some timelapses from jams that I’ve done. Scroll down for projects that I didn’t record a timelapse for.
Ludum Dare 49
Timelapse of a 3-day game jam where I made a game about rolling around on an unstable platform and balancing it by moving your enemies.
Ludum Dare 46
3-day game jam where I made a game about a dog chasing a cat, and the player has to place road pieces in front of them so they don’t die.
GMTK 2021
2-day game jam where I made a game where you have to use your dead enemies as building blocks to get through the level.
GMTK 2020
2-day game jam where I made a game about rc cars. Players have to respond quickly when the rc connection switches to make sure their car doesn’t crash.
Other
I haven’t recorded timelapses for all gamejam projects, so below are the final submissions for those jams.
Ludwig game jam
1-week game jam where I made a game about a cat that sneaks out of the house to get catfood.
Brackeys game jam
1-week game jam where I made a tower defense game where you can view the enemy waves ahead of time, then go back in time to place your defenses.
